In House of friendship it was held a round table "Zheltoqsan-86: through the prism of time"

17-18 December of this year it is marked the 30th anniversary of the speech of young people in Almaty and other cities of Kazakhstan against the dictates of the Centre.

But until now the phenomenon of December that once excited the whole world did not get an objective assessment.

December 21, 2016 the Department of "Assembly of people of Kazakhstan" and the branch of RSA NKB "Patriotic Movement "Zheltoqsan aqiqaty" held a round table "Zheltoqsan-86: through the prism of time".

The round table was attended by representatives of regional departments, heads of non-governmental organizations, youth, representatives of the media.

Grivennaya L.A., the Chair of "The Assembly of People of Kazakhstan" department of NKSU named after M. Kozybayev spoke on "December 1986: time, events, people". She highlighted the issues of reasons, the organizers, the participants, the course of events, consequences and lessons of the December uprising in 1986.

Botash Kazhimov, the chairman of RSA NKB "Patriotic Movement "Zheltoqsan aqiqaty" spoke about the activities of the organization headed by him.

The participants expressed their views and have assessed this event as the first step towards the independence of Kazakhstan.
