A meeting of the Council of the Alumni Association

The meeting was attended by representatives of the university administration, deans of faculties, director of the Institute of Language and Literature, as well as members of the Council of the Alumni Association of our university. Among them are well-known personalities in the region and the republic: Alexander Vinokurov, general manager of the Kazakhstan professional road cycling team “Astana Pro Team”, Raikhan Abdrakhmanova, director of the branch of JSC "Zhilstroisberbank" , Yevgeny Kuchkovsky, director of Astana-Plat LLP and others no less eminent graduates of our university.

The mission of this organization is to unite and socially promote the graduates of our university of all generations. The Association sets itself such noble goals as creating a spirit of corporate spirit, mutual assistance and cooperation, supporting and enhancing the image of our university, and enhancing its scientific and cultural traditions. Members of the Association advocate for the preservation and development of relations between university graduates, assistance in the training of students of our university.

The Vice-Rector for educational work and social issues Aizhan Kuderina opened and led the meeting. Guests of the meeting were awarded certificates of a graduate of NKSU.

Acting Rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU Aidos Mukhataev, speaking to members of the Alumni Association Council, spoke about the achievements with which one of the oldest universities in Kazakhstan meets its 80th anniversary.

From year to year the number of people wishing to enter our university is growing. In the new school year, the contingent of students will be 5700 people. According to the version of the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education over the past 2 years, M. Kozybayev NKSU  significantly improved his position and now occupies the fifteenth place among twenty diversified universities of the republic. The university staff sets an ambitious goal to enter the top ten best universities in Kazakhstan by 2019.

Vladimir Ruppel, graduate of our university in 2000. Currently, he is a shareholder of a large company in Almaty. He does not hide pride in his university, he is very glad of the good changes that are happening in alma mater. Speaking at the meeting, he assured that he would try to maintain close ties and contribute in every way to all his good undertakings to his native university.

At the meeting, the work plan of the Association of Alumni of M. Kozybayev NKSU for the 2017-2018 academic year, and also elected: chairman, his deputy and secretary of the Association Council.
