Workshop at Lublin University of Technology

On the basis of Lublin University of Technology was held another workshop on the project Erasmus+ TRUNAK "Transition to University autonomy in Kazakhstan".

From March 3 to 8, issues related to management, academic, financial, personnel autonomy of universities were discussed on the example of universities in Europe with the possibility of implementing existing developments in the universities of Kazakhstan. Specialists of universities, such European countries as Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Finland, presented their existing systems of University autonomy, advised on issues of interest. For example, quite interesting was the speech of the Deputy Dean of the University of Ljubljana Tomas Mars. It was devoted to management, academic and financial independence at the level of a single faculty.

Carolina Galazka, financial auditor of Loot, presented a model of financing universities in Poland. It is interesting that out of 100% of the students enrolled, 60-70% graduate and receive diplomas, which is an indicator of the high requirements for students and the quality of education. Stephanie Bruno, from the faculty of health of the Catholic University of the sacred heart in Rome, was a consultant to the workshop on the quality of education in Italy, in particular the evaluation of research and didactics: information on the national Agency for the evaluation of universities and research institutes ANVUR, working as a body of the Ministry of Education. Enora Bennett also presented a report of the European Association of universities on the transition to University autonomy in Kazakhstan.

The task of the group in Lublin was to review the work of previous workshops and to develop its proposals and recommendations. Participants of the workshop participated in the international seminar "Bioinformatics 2019". Demonstrated equipment to capture human movement can be widely used in medicine. And, of course, a tour of the historic center of Lublin did not leave indifferent the participants of the workshop.
