Under this motto, on November 21, the University hosted the opening of the School of Integrity with the participation of the chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Combating Corruption Alik Shpekbayev.

Classes, seminars and trainings for students within the framework of the School of Integrity of M. Kozybayev NKSU will be conducted in the coworking center. Here her first students welcomed the guests of the university.

Alik Shpekbayev talked with youth, noted that such sites are opening everywhere in the country's higher educational institutions. Integrity schools are aimed at creating an anti-corruption model of behavior and training young representatives of the anti-corruption movement of the new formation.

The main compliance academic officer Natalya Pobezhuk informed about the work being done at the university to build academic honesty. One of the first in Kazakhstan, M. Kozybayev NKSU joined the League of Academic Honesty of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an academic policy was developed, a project office “Sanaly urpaq” was opened, questionnaires “Teacher through the eyes of students” are regularly conducted, and control over student attendance is strengthened. In addition, 90% of exams are taken in writing, the objectivity of the assessment is provided by the method of “blind verification” of answer sheets, in which the names of the examiners are replaced with an individual code, volunteer students are present at the examinations. The disciplines “Fundamentals of academic writing” and “Fundamentals of law and anti-corruption” were introduced at all educational programs. Where learners are explained the rules for quoting other people's texts, with the goal of inadmissibility of plagiarism, the foundations of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, internal regulatory documents, principles of integrity. Absolutely transparent is the settlement in the hostel through the official website of the university, as well as the entry to the sports section.

Acting Rector Yerbol Issakayev proposed to consider the possibility of maintaining scholarships to grantees, even if they pass the exam "satisfactorily", given that its payment is good social and material support for them. This will exclude the race for grades, reduce corruption risks, and allow students to focus not on grades, but primarily on knowledge.

Guests of the event were shown a video on anti-corruption topics prepared by the University Media Center. Students of M. Kozybayev NKSU will continue to be involved in the creation of such video works in the course of the School of Integrity.
