Essay contest among students dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev

An essay contest "Abay – Dana, Abay – Dara" was held at the M. Kozybayev NKSU among students of 1-3 courses of the Department of Journalism, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great thinker Abay Kunanbayev. Its goal is to form the consciousness and worldview of young people through the prism of studying the works of a philosopher, writer and poet. The Kazakh classic teaches moral principles, humanism, opens eyes to a new world with the help of eternal and relevant topics, - the participants noted.

The creative tournament was held in several categories, in which the children analyzed the words of edification, poetry and aesthetics, as well as translation and scientific activities of Abay Kunanbayev.

About 60 people took part in the competition. The jury did not limit the creative flight of their imagination. They could write in any genre. As a result, eight winners were awarded certificates.
