The staff of Kozybayev University got acquainted with the Address of the President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan

Today, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, at a joint meeting of the Chambers of Parliament, addressed the people of the country with the Message: "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action", in which he announced 7 basic principles of the new economic course. It is a fair distribution of benefits and responsibilities; the leading role of entrepreneurship; fair competition, opening markets for a new generation of entrepreneurs; productivity growth, increased complexity and technological effectiveness of the economy; development of human capital, investment in a new type of education; "Greening" the economy, environmental protection; adoption by the state of informed decisions and responsibility for them before society.

The Kozybayev University team was enthusiastic about this strategy for the country's further development.
The President instructed the Government to develop a concept of lifelong education: "This document should provide for the active introduction of alternative options for non-formal education, recognition of the results of independent learning, certification of professional skills."

The Head of State initiated the creation of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, as well as the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition. The Ministry of Emergency Situations will restore its functions.

Starting from 2021, Kazakhstanis will be able to use a share of pension savings for primary needs. “As part of my instructions, the issue of using part of my pension savings was worked out. This is especially important now, but already in 2021, 700 thousand UAPF contributors will be able to use part of their savings for the purchase of housing, medical treatment or for transferring it to the management of financial companies,” said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
