Kozybayev University at the Congress of the Association of Asian universities

The IV Congress Of the Association of Asian universities was held at the Altai state University in Barnaul (Russia). Acting Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerbol Issakayev and employees of our Alma mater took part in it remotely.

Kozybayev University have also joined this organization in 2017. In total, it includes 76 higher education institutions in Armenia, Kazakhstan (32 universities), Kyrgyzstan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Malaysia and Thailand. The Association of Asian universities has laid the Foundation for the formation of a unified educational space in the region, a powerful impetus for integration processes in the field of higher education, expansion of academic mobility and cultural ties.

The main topic of the General meeting was summarizing the results of the work, coordinating key areas of activity and defining the development strategy of the Association as a platform for network cooperation of the Asian scientific and educational space. The event included the admission of new universities to the Association and the election of its President for another two-year term.

In the face-to-face and online format, we discussed joint educational programs and approaches to organizing academic mobility; features and new approaches to interaction in the context of epidemiological restrictions. All this will make it possible to implement the most ambitious plans to strengthen and develop the educational space of the Asian continent.
