Instructional-methodical lesson on anti-terrorist topics

Under the chairmanship of the vice-rector for educational work and social issues Nurlan Baimbetov, an instructive and methodological lesson was held with the heads of departments and divisions, deans of the faculties of Kozybayev University on countering terrorism. The participants of the event were informed about the actions to be taken in the event of a threat of committing a terrorist act and the discovery of a foreign suspicious object similar to an explosive device.

Representative of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in North Kazakhstan, Major of National Security Sarsen Kulmaganbetov spoke about how university employees should behave, having received a message about the mining of an object by phone or in writing. He also reported on the possible occurrence of other emergencies, terrorist and extremist threats.

The audience received visual aids, information brochures and handouts. This lesson was organized in accordance with the Anti-Terrorism Action Plan of our university for 2020.
