Students of pedagogical specialties received an increased scholarship

Since September of this year, in Kazakhstan, students of pedagogical specialties have increased the scholarship to 42,000 tenge. About 1900 people will receive it at Kozybayev University.

This measure is being implemented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, which he announced at the third meeting of the National Council of Public Trust.

Another mechanism for increasing the prestige and status of the teacher was the increase in the passing score from 65 to 70 for applicants. In our university, about 400 people entered the pedagogical specialties this year. In total, 3134 students study at the bachelor's degree in the pedagogical direction.

The increase in the scholarship also affected doctoral students, since September they have received 150 thousand tenge, we recall that earlier the payment was 102 thousand.

Today the total contingent of our university students is more than 7.5 thousand people.
