New conquest of creative heights by students of Kozybayev University

This week the students of the Department of "Musical Disciplines" have pleased with their victories. Sophomore Alexander Plotnik became the 1st Degree Laureate in the International Competition-Festival "Autumn Svarozhye" (Moscow). He competed in the category "Pop Vocal" (solo) in the age category from 16 to 19 years old. The competition was held remotely, videos of the performances were sent to the organizers - the Ingenium Russian Charitable Foundation for Support and Accompanying Gifted Children.

Alexander was the first among more than 160 festival participants. He performed the popular composition "Hang Glider": "This is one of my favorite songs, it is distinguished by its plasticity, which well reveals the technique and range of the voice. It is about love, freedom and the opportunity to rise above vanity,” the student shared.

In addition, Kozybayev University has held the annual International Distance Essay Competition "The Prestige of My Profession" for freshmen in the specialties "Music Education" and "Cultural and Leisure Work". Where, also in terms of the total of points scored, the 1st place was awarded to our student Dayana Shaukerova (group MB-20k). The geography of the contestants is expanding every year. This time more than 30 works were submitted by children from the cities of Almaty, Semey, St. Petersburg (RF), Vologda (RF) and, of course, Petropavlovsk.

In the essay, they comprehended the chosen profession, its relevance in the modern world, their musical and creative experience. We discussed the proposed topic. They value their future work highly and approach it with a great deal of responsibility, because they are the ones who will acquaint children with the world of beauty - music.
