Graduates work at such enterprises as the Joint-Stock Company "Plant named after S.M.Kirov", the Joint–Stock Company "Petropavlovsk Heavy Machinery Plant", the North Kazakhstan Regional Directorate of Telecommunications - a branch of the joint-stock company "Kazakhtelecom" and a number of small and medium-sized businesses.

What you need to know for admission

Admission and admission to study for the educational program 6B07103-"Electrical Power Engineering" is carried out according to the "Standard Rules for admission to training in educational organizations implementing professional training programs of higher education" approved by Order of the Minister of Education dated October 31, 2018 No. 600 and the Rules for admission to training in educational programs of higher and postgraduate education in a Non-profit Joint Stock Company "North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev".

According to the test results, applicants must score at least 50 points, including at least 5 points in each discipline, the maximum score is 140. Applicants for the highest number of points are awarded state grants on a competitive basis. Applicants who have not passed the competition, but have reached the threshold level of points, have the right to study on a fee basis. Applicants who have not reached the threshold level of points are enrolled for tuition on a fee basis and at the end of the first academic period must retake the UNT to confirm their knowledge.

No practical or professional experience is required for admission to the university.

Knowledge of foreign languages is required in the scope of secondary education (gymnasium, lyceum) or secondary special education (college). Professional aptitude tests are not provided.

The number of enrolled students depends on the number of applicants who have won a state grant, as well as the number of applicants who want to study on a fee basis.

LO1 - Possess knowledge in the field of mathematics and natural sciences, as well as of information technologies used in professional activities.
