Research Laboratory “Agrochemical Analytics”
The Agrochemical Analytics Research Laboratory was established in 2026 as part of project BR28712227, “Development and Implementation of High-Tech Solutions for Monitoring, Treatment and Rational Use of Water Resources in the North Kazakhstan Region to Ensure Public Health.”
Laboratory objective: Assessment of the agroecological and radiological characteristics of soils and animal feed, monitoring of pollutants in agricultural ecosystems, ensuring sustainable agricultural water use and the safety of livestock products.
The main objective of the Agrochemical Analytics Research Laboratory is to participate in research and development activities related to the assessment of agroecological and radiological characteristics of soils and animal feed, monitoring pollutants in agricultural ecosystems, ensuring sustainable agricultural water use, and safeguarding the safety of livestock products.
Main objectives of the laboratory:
Physicochemical analysis of soils and animal feed: Determination of pH, organic matter, macro- and microelements.
Equipment used:
- HPLC with a UV detector, MGA-1000 atomic absorption spectrometer, PE-5300 VI spectrophotometer;
- Mobile laboratory for rapid on-site assessment under field conditions;
- Determination of residual contaminants: chromatographic analysis of pesticides, heavy metals and organic compounds, as well as assessment of the bioaccumulation of pollutants in soil and animal feed.
Instruments:
- Agilent 5977B GC/MS;
- Agilent 8890 gas chromatograph;
- RA-915M mercury analyzer.
