Hanshabibi Zhaksybai - Grand Prix winner

She performed the popular song «Кilling me softly», which requires taking high notes. There are a large number of arrangements for this song. I was able to reveal the meaning of the song, although it was very difficult. By choosing the repertoire, I tried to show both the lower register of my voice and the upper one, to use various melismatic techniques,» says the young singer.

The regional competition «Tansholpan» is held for the XII time. This year, more than 20 gifted children took part in it. These are students of  Kozybayev University, students of colleges of Petropavlovsk and Stepnogorsk, schoolchildren of  North Kazakhstan and Akmola regions. All participants were divided into 2 groups.

The contestants could perform either solo or in a duet in the following directions: academic, folklore, pop-vocal performance. Musical compositions were performed in various repertoires in Kazakh, Russian, English and Ukrainian. The jury evaluated the performance skills, vocal skills, artistry, the ability to convey to the listener the meaning of the song and the artistry of the work.

As a result, 7 people were awarded a diploma of the first degree. 9 performers became the second and the third place was given to 6 participants. Arlan Kurmanbayev became the winner in the special nomination «Kazakhstan, Otan Elim». And Dmitry Scheffing won the nomination «Preservation of the cultural heritage of the people of Kazakhstan».
