On March 1, Kazakhstan celebrates the Day of the formation of the forensic service. On their professional holiday, employees of the Police Department of the North Kazakhstan Region met with students of the Department of «Legal Disciplines» of our university.

At the event, future lawyers were told about the activities of the most scientific of all police departments. Alexander Khlevov, chief criminologist of the operational - forensic Department of the DP of the North Kazakhstan Region, shared his experience of participating in the investigation of cases of looting in Almaty during the January events. He had the opportunity to inspect and record physical evidence at objects attacked by terrorists, to conduct a ballistic examination.

«Especially valuable was the gratitude to the police officers for helping and protecting law and order from ordinary people who suffered themselves or lost property during the pogroms,» he recalls.

Raushan Bakeeva, Senior Investigator for Particularly Important Accident Cases, North Kazakhstan Region, informed future lawyers about the work of an investigator, interrogating officer, and forensic specialist. How popular these professions are among students is evidenced by their participation in the essay contest «Uzdik bolashak tergeushi», organized by the DP NKR. «The level of work of the guys is growing every year, it is clear that they analyzed, delved into history when writing» said Raushan Bakeeva.

Deputy Head of the DP of the North Kazakhstan Region for investigative work EnbekSembin presented the winners of the essay contest with diplomas and gifts:

2nd place - Karina Kusainova (group Yu-20k)

3rd place - Amir Zhamanbaev (group Yu-20)

After the meeting, police officers together with senior lecturer of the Department of «Legal Disciplines» Alexander Loboda held a lecture on the topic: «The work of a forensic specialist, an investigator for conducting investigative actions. «Using examples from practice, the children were shown how the inspection of the scene of the incident, the removal of traces and material evidence is carried out.
