Gymnastics show – 2023

This show is not only about gymnastics, and not only about sports. Much more: about a healthy lifestyle, aesthetics, human capabilities and cohesion. Every year, the athletes of our university unite in order to show the audience a vivid gymnastic performance and popularize this sport among young people. 5 teams competed in strength, agility and speed. Among them are not only students of Kozybayev University, but also children from the North Kazakhstan specialized boarding school-the Olympic Reserve College, as well as the Higher North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College.

The competition consisted of several stages. The main task of the participants is to demonstrate the technique of execution, as well as well–coordinated teamwork. One of the most spectacular tasks was the creation of a pyramid. The students performed complex constructions with the assistance, which showed their thorough preparation for the competition. Then there was a relay race and an obstacle course. Some tours required well–developed coordination, others required strength and quick reactions. The candidates and masters of sports, as well as young athletes of the Youth Sports School also demonstrated different performances.

As a result, the 1st place was taken by the national team of the Higher North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College, 2 - Kozybayev University's students of PCS-23–1 group, the "bronze" went to the pupils of the boarding school-college of the Olympic Reserve. The event has been held at the University since 1990 and this tradition was introduced by Viktor Konstantinovich Tulaev, Professor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical and Military Education.
