Courses for teachers, contest for school learners on chemistry

A department of organic chemistry and chemistry of HMC is collaborated with schools of a city and NKO by teachers. Last week a professional development courses for teachers and contest between 9-11 class learners on chemistry were passed.

Courses were visited about 25 teachers of oblast schools. The most tasks on chemistry have been explained to them, interested questions have been answered for 3 days. Thus the main aim of courses – the help in training of pupils for UNT.

Upon the completion of courses all certificates were handed over to teachers.

Carrying out practical round of the regional subject contest on chemistry was one more event on the department of organic chemistry and chemistry of HMC. This action became annual on NGF, this tradition was more than 20 years old.

Despite all complexity of tasks, children carried out them with interest. After all here they had an opportunity to embody them practically, using the offered equipment. School learners from all regions of the oblast and the city of Petropavlovsk  took part in the contest.

Winners and prize-winners of the contest were awarded with diplomas. However losers wasn't here – because all these children are integrated by one hobby and desire to learn more about difficult, but the interesting world of chemical compounds.
