Kazakh language department has carried out the competition «Салт-дәстүрлер – алтын қазына»

"Салт-дастурлер – алтын казына" (Tradition and customs - the gold wealth) was the theme of the competition organized among students by Kazakh language department. The participants of this competition were teams of six faculties of the university. The main aim of the event was the propaganda of national cultural values.

To show the features of Kazakh national rituals was the main task of the contestants. For example, students of History, economics and law faculty staged the marriage proposal ritual "syrga salu". Judging by the high evaluation of the jury, they were able to convey all the nuances of this custom.

Apart from stage productions, the event was decorated with other musical numbers. Dances and songs rich of the Kazakh culture were also presented to the audience.

Sofia Vasileva is excellent in Kazakh language. The student said that the competition is very helpful influence on young people. It gives them an interest in the culture of the Kazakh people.

As a result of the event, the jury appreciated the preparation of students. The winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes.
