This week it was held the ceremonial opening of the memorial plaque in memory of the Doctor of Techniques, Professor, the Founder of the North Kazakhstan Engineering Education Kairbek Orazovich at our university.

Heads of the oblast and city, his friends, relatives, colleagues and students met to honour the memory of Kairbek Orazov. The akim of the oblast, the friend of Kairbek Orazov Erik Sultanov made a speech first.

The contribution of the famous scientist in the higher school development was invaluable. Being a graduate of the Bauman College Kairbek Orazovich put all his strength that his countrymen could get a high-quality high-grade education, and region - professional local staff. His wife Sapura Sultanovna Orazova was an encouragement and support in all his commitments.

The memorial plaque was placed at the building 5 of our university. Because everyday activities of Kairbek Orazovich were held exactly there.

Kairbek Orazovich has worked in the native city Petropavlovsk for 15 years. For this time he educated a whole pleiad of engineering personnel. Many of them are continuing to impart knowledge to the next generation.

A ot of kind words and memories of Kairbekov Orazovich was made at the ceremony. Even those, who did not know the scientist, could feel the force of his personality and importance.

The opening of the memorial plaque was held on the birthday of Kairbek Orazovich - 29 April. This year he would be 70 years.
