Certificates for future camp counselors

Students not only of our University but also of Diversified Training College of NKSU named after M. Kozybayev and other colleges are members of the student pedagogical unit “DZHEM” which has functioned on the basis of NKSU since 1999. The unit consists of 60 members. This year 17 students have obtained Certificates of Work Permit in children’s health camps. During the summer they will organize children’s leisure time. Many of them go in for the unit during all the period of their study in the HEI; they learn chants, games and songs.

In 2013 members of this friendly team attended practical training seminar of summer holiday organizers in Almaty and joined Republican pedagogical unit. It will allow them to work not only in children’s camps in North Kazakhstan region, but also in all of Kazakhstan. “For future teachers it is a good experience of pedagogical activity and communication with children”, says Oksana Samiyeva, the Head of the student pedagogical unit “DZHEM”, a lecturer of Department of Pedagogics.
