University in the top of five

In May 2013 the International seminar “Strategies for higher education: a global approach” was held. The main part of the report at the seminar was devoted to improve the ratings of universities in the world educational space. In the report of the Managing Director of QS World University Rankings Nunzio Kuakuarelli was presented the comparative results of the evaluation of universities of Asia, including the universities of Kazakhstan. The analysis of activity of the Kazakhstan universities was carried out in five academic directions: art and humanities, medicine, social sciences and management, engineering and technologies, natural sciences.

As noted Nunzio Kuakuarelli, NKSU named after M. Kozybayev is in the top of five universities in Kazakhstan in “Engineering and Technology”.

QS World University Rankings - is a global research and the accompanying list of the best universities in the world according to the value of the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The rating QS WUR focused on the assessment of certain aspects of the universities as academic achievement and productivity, internationalization, the perception of the university employers (including indirect assessment of graduates), the evaluation of the academic reputation of the university.
