“I would go to volunteers, let them teach me...”

On November 28, 2019, the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, M. Kozybayev NKSU, held a regional scientific and practical seminar on the topic: “Volunteering as a social phenomenon of Kazakhstani society”, in which representatives of the North Kazakhstan Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan participated as speakers, State and public associations and NGOs involved in the implementation of volunteer activities: Sabitov S.Zh., leading expert of  MSI "Kogamdyk kelіsim" apparatus of the akim of North Kazakhstan region, Gizatullina L.R., Head of the Department Support for volunteer movement in the North-Kazakhstan region, A.V. Semukhina, volunteer of the youth public association “Fauna”, master and bachelor student volunteers of M. Kozybayev NKSU: Petrov Bogdan, compliance academic officer of the project office “Sanaly Urpaq”, master student of the group Zh- m-19, Khismatullina A., master student of the group Iya-m-18, Uzdembaeva B., master student of the group Ekol-m-18, Perminova N., student of the group DZ-15, Musaeva R., student of the group SPS-16.

The seminar addressed the difficulties of practical activities, new principles and approaches, targeted assistance and motivation in carrying out volunteer activities. Seminar participants shared their practical experience and presented a wide range of areas of volunteer activity: social practice, inclusive education, tutoring, work in backyard, creative and sports clubs, ethnic volunteering, event, medical, intellectual, educational, environmental, legal, tourism, IT , volunteering, etc.

A program for the development of the volunteer movement at M. Kozybayev NKSU and detailed instructions for registration on the republican portal - http://qazvolonteer.kz, which gives each participant the opportunity to receive social practice and material rewards for its implementation, were presented to the students present.
