The second day. Opening of the Republican front office of volunteerism

For the second day, bachelor and master students of M. Kozybayev NKSU are in Nur-Sultan at the opening of the Republican Volunteers front office. Yesterday, February 12, an official ceremony was held with the participation of the President of Kazakhstan. First, the head of state was presented the directions of the year of the volunteer, the work already being carried out and planned. The largest voluntary action was the movement "Birgemiz: Taza Qazaqstan" last year, which United more than 300 thousand Kazakhstani. This event formed the basis of the concept of the year of the volunteer.

In 2020, the residents of our country actively supported the challenge "Biz birgemiz", launched by the famous showman Tursunbek Kabatov.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev supported these projects and announced a number of measures to support volunteers. So, now the experience of volunteering will be included in the overall work experience, grants will be allocated for the implementation of volunteer initiatives, and active representatives of the movement will receive state awards. The audience greeted these words with thunderous applause. Here, dialogue platforms with the participation of heads of Central government agencies were launched. We talked about volunteering in the Internal Affairs bodies, emergency situations, education, health, and ecology.

Today, February 13, seminars and trainings are provided for participants. The main focus is on international volunteerism, brand promotion in social networks, and fundraising. They will also share the best regional practices, learn how to use art therapy, motivate volunteer groups, and correctly assess the needs of the community.
