International online seminar on the production of organic products at M. Kozybayev NKSU

Current trends in the production of organic products and their certification were discussed at an online seminar organized by our university. The dialogue participants were not only students and teachers of M. Kozybayev NKSU, specialists of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the North Kazakhstan region, the Department of Agriculture of the region, but also Kazakh farmers, as well as representatives of the agribusiness of Lithuania and Israel.

The farmers shared their experience in the production of organic products, their popularization, as one of the priority areas for increasing the competitiveness of domestic agricultural products. Which, in turn, can significantly develop the country's export potential.

Foreign colleagues spoke about the certification of organic products, equipment and technologies for plant protection for organic products.

Organic crops, organic farming are the trends in the global agricultural industry, experts from the Kazakh Research Institute of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development said. Scientists presented serious scientific reports on this topic, reported on the practice of using innovative drugs in the production of organic products. One of them will be transferred to AF to conduct research on the basis of our agrobiological station.

As a result of the seminar, a representative of the Israeli company Boris Bordman expressed a desire to give lectures on plant protection for our students, and the Dikanshi company will invite our students and demonstrate how organic production is going.
